Winter surfing can be cold... and made worst by a leaky wetsuit!
How can you help keep your Winter Suit in top condition?
Wash it with fresh water after each use. Rinse it well, the Zips, inside, outside and do it twice to be sure. Washing off the salt water is a big step towards keeping you suit working well.
Hang to Drip Dry. Let your suit dry slowly out of direct sunlight. Don't use extreme heat or leave your suit out in the sun. Heat and the Suns UV can damage the neoprene and Seams. Check the Monsta Hanger which makes this a breeze!
Store well. Don't tightly fold your wetsuit up and stuff it away, ideally leave it hung out of sunlight on a wide padded hanger and keep it away from the sun.
Repair it. If you do snag or tear your suit - repair it as soon as you can. Little tears and holes will only get bigger and before you know it, its an expensive repair. Most tears and holes can be repaired at home using Wetuist Repair kits.
