Porthcawl Tide Times

Low tide Coney Beach aka Sandy Bay, has a great fast peeling right hander but its pretty hard work with a heavy rip and long walks back up the the take off spot.

Mid to High tide the main sand banks work, with lots of shelter from South Westerly Winds by the Harbour wall, making it often the best break for miles. Great for all boards and a mix of slower peeling sections and fast close outs.

High tide can turn to a heavy beach break, lots of fun on Bodyboard and short boards - but a little fast and furious for longer boards.
