The Surfboard Leash String is what keeps your board attached to your leash. Worn and stretched out leash ties can lead to long swims to shore or damage to the tail of your board. Although included with most leashes, having an extra Surfboard Leash String or two handy is a smart way to keep your gear in tip top condition or save the day for a less prepared fellow surfer.
For perfect Leash String attachment tie an overhand knot to create the looped tie. Stuff the loop end through the leash plug, shove the knot through and pull tight. Be sure to check the length of your Leash String to ensure it will not overhang onto any part of your rails. Attach your leash and go surf!
