Deflow Izzy Henshall signature fin

Hailing from Cornwall, England, Izzy Henshall has been making waves in recent times. A former British and Junior Champion, Izzy has continued to evolve her surfing over the last year. Yet despite residing on the opposite side of the British Isles, she remains polite, humble — dare we say, a little bashful.

Quietly traveling the globe and making moves, Izzy is a name to watch as she continues carving out a place for herself in Noosa, Australia — quintessentially her second home.

“I’ve been wanting to create a fin with Deflow for a while now, but it’s been tricky for me to stop using the 9.75” Cream, as this is my all-time favourite fin. However, I decided I should start experimenting with different fins again, so we’ve decided to create something with a little twist.

It’s a versatile fin designed to work hand-in-hand with a wide range of longboards. It features a wide base paired with the perfect amount of flex for driving through turns and coming out with lots of speed. It also has plenty of surface area to provide hold whilst noseriding through those critical sections.

I chose a classy and timeless color to complement a variety of boards, while also incorporating a natural palette that fits into the environment. To add my own touch, I included a scribbled flower design, which often appears in my art.”
